Congratulations to Sean Mc Weeney
Congratulations to Sean Mc Weeney who was named Leitrim Minor Player of the Year. Sean was awarded at the County Board Dinner Dance, on Saturday 23rd January, at the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon.
Sean as captain of the Leitrim Minor Team, continues on from his older brothers, Gavin and Barry, who both captained Leitrim County Minor Teams. He also follows in the footsteps of his brothers as Barry was also named Leitrim Minor Player of the Year in 2003.
Also Congratulations to Peter Flynn, former County Board Vice-Chairman, who was given an award for his contribution to Leitrim Football.

JUNIOR- Division 5 Champions
Aughnasheelin Junior team did us proud by winning th Div. 5 Leagues Final against Carrigallen by a margin of 9 points.

LEITRIM INTERMEDIATE COUNTY CHAMPIONS 2008
